The Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) established in 1948, is a multi-disciplinary government organization under the Department of Mines, Ministry of Mines, engaged in the promotion of conservation, scientific development of mineral resources, and protection of the environment in mines other than coal, petroleum & natural gas, atomic minerals, and minor minerals.
Scope of Work
- Web-based application deployment was needed on NIC server at NIC data center for registration of licenses and licensed operators.
- Certification and Quality assessment of operators with respect to sustainable development framework guidelines.
- Need of a Mobile application platform to report the status of processes and operations at the mine site.

Datawise Assignment
- We developed the website and Application for Star Rating of Mines Using Web and Mobile Interface. Registration, and periodic audit of mines with respect to environmental safeguards, and occupational safety are carried out using this application, and the resultant ratings are used for monitoring mining licensees, checking adherence to licensing granting criteria, and renewal of licenses.
- Development and deployment of Sustainable Frameworks for monitoring mining licenses granted and adherence to licensing granting criteria.
